MORAVIAN’S CAITLIN CORRIGAN HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S SOCCER
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior goalie Caitlin Corrigan (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge HS) of the Moravian College women’s soccer team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Corrigan helped Moravian post a 1-0-1 record last week with ten saves and a 0.90 goals-against average.  She had six saves in a 2-1 win over Cabrini College to begin the week.  Corrigan then had four saves in Moravian's 1-1, double-overtime draw with Susquehanna University in Landmark Conference action.

Corrigan owns school records with 46 career wins and 30 career shutouts, and she is just 11 saves shy of becoming the fourth goalie in school history to make 300 career saves.

Moravian, which is 9-5-2 overall, is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, October 22nd in a Landmark Conference match versus The University of Scranton beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Bethlehem.
