MORAVIAN’S TRACY FITZPATRICK HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE
WOMEN’S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior forward Tracy Fitzpatrick (Wantage, NJ/High Point Regional HS) of the Moravian College women’s soccer team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Fitzpatrick scored seven points on three goals and an assist in a 2-0 week for the Greyhounds in Landmark Conference action.  Fitzpatrick had her second hat trick of the season and her career in Moravian's 3-0 shutout of The University of Scranton.  She netted her three goals on just three shots, as she did in her first hat trick this fall.  The game-winning goal was Fitzpatrick's third of the season.  She then had an assist on the game-winning goal in Moravian's 3-1 victory over The Catholic University of America, and she had four shots in the match.

For her career, Fitzpatrick has 33 goals, 18 assists and 84 points, which all rank third in school history, despite missing her entire sophomore season with an injury.

Moravian, which is 11-5-2 overall, is scheduled to close out the 2008 regular season with a Landmark Conference match at Drew University at 1:00 p.m. in Madison, New Jersey.
