MORAVIAN’S CHRIS NEDEROSTEK HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE
MEN’S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior goalie Chris Nederostek (Lansdale, PA/Christopher Dock HS) of the Moravian College men’s soccer team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for his performance last week.

Nederostek posted a 0.49 goals-against average with 12 saves and a shutout in 181:56 minutes of action in a 1-1 week in Landmark Conference action for Moravian.  He allowed a goal and made four saves in a 1-0 loss to The University of Scranton to begin the week.  Nederostek then had his third shutout of the season with eight saves as Moravian defeated The Catholic University of America, 1-0 in overtime, for the Greyhounds' first conference win of the season.

Moravian, which is 6-8-2 overall, is scheduled to return to action on Thursday, October 30th in a non-conference match versus DeSales University beginning at 3:00 p.m. on the HUB Quad in Bethlehem.
