SEVEN MORAVIAN FOOTBALL PLAYERS RANKED IN LATEST NCAA DIVISION III STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College football team has seven student-athletes ranked in the eighth NCAA Division III statistical rankings of 2008 through games of October 26th, and the Greyhounds are ranked in the top 50 in three team categories.

Senior running back Tyler McCambridge (Northampton, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) is 37th in rushing with 110.57 yards per game, tied for 50th in scoring at 8.57 points per contest and 19th in all-purpose yardage at 167.43 yards per game.

Senior kicker Brian Reckenbeil (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville HS) is tied for third in the country in field goals per game at 1.50, and he is 93rd in points per game at 7.38 while senior punter Michael Voskian (Brielle, NJ/Manasquan HS) is 50th in punting at 38.06 yards per punt. 
 

Senior defensive lineman Doug Bocchino (Madison, NJ/Madison HS) is tied for 73rd in sacks with 0.69 per game while senior linebacker Andrew Morrissey (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus HS) is 100th in tackles with 8.88 per contest. 

Senior defensive back Carl Robinson (Boothwyn, PA/Garnet Valley HS) is tied for 25th in the nation in interceptions at 0.62 per game while sophomore defensive back Daniel Burley (Easton, PA/Easton HS) is tied for 55th in interceptions with 0.50 per contest.

Moravian is 33rd in the nation in rushing offense at 208.00 yards per game, and the team is 24th in turnover margin at +1.25 per game and 27th in pass efficiency defense with a 98.43 rating. 

The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, November 1st a Centennial Conference game versus Ursinus College with kickoff slated for 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field.  Moravian will be participating in the NCAA Take a Kid to the Game program with all children 14 and under getting in free with the purchase of an adult ticket.  There will be games and activities for the children through the Moravian Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
