MORAVIAN’S BOCCHINO NAMED TO D3FOOTBALL.COM TEAM OF THE WEEK

MINNEAPOLIS, MN --- Senior defensive lineman Doug Bocchino (Madison, NJ/Madison HS) of the Moravian College football team has been named the D3football.com Team of the Week for his performance in the Greyhounds’ 17-7 Centennial Conference victory over Ursinus College last Saturday.

Bocchino had eight tackles in the game, six solo, to go along with two and a half of Moravian’s six sacks and three and a half tackles for loss.  Bocchino had a fumble caused and a fumble recovery on a sack during Ursinus' second play of the second half that set up the Moravian offense at the Bears' 20 for what ended up being the game-winning field goal.

The Greyhounds have their bye this week and will return to action on Saturday, November 15th a Centennial Conference game versus rival Muhlenberg College with kickoff slated for 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field.
