MADISON, NJ --- Senior forward Tracy Fitzpatrick (Wantage, NJ/High Point Regional HS) of the Moravian College women’s soccer team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the year, and earned First Team All-Conference honors along with senior goalie Caitlin Corrigan (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge HS) and senior defender Katelyn Killea (Chatham, NJ/Chatham HS) announced Tuesday.

Senior defender Alexandra Frascella (Chatham, NJ/Chatham HS) earned a spot on the Landmark All-Conference Second Team while freshman Arielle Caldas (Cherry Hills, NJ/Cherry Hills West HS) was named the Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year.  Moravian head coach Eric Lambinus and his staff of assistant coaches Kate Miller, Jill Vaccarro and Kristina Adams garnered the Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year award.

The quintet has led Moravian to a 14-5-2 record this season, the 2008 Landmark Conference Championship and a second straight berth in the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament.  The Greyhounds will play The College of New Jersey in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday, November 15th at 1:30 p.m. in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Fitzpatrick, who was the inaugural Landmark Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Year last season as well as a member of the All-Conference First Team in 2007, leads Moravian in scoring with 11 goals and eight assists for 30 points.  Fitzpatrick, who missed her entire sophomore season due to an injury and another four matches with fall with another injury, has moved into third in school history with 87 points in her career on 33 goals, ranked third in the record books, and 21 assists, which is tied for second.

Corrigan, who was on the All-Conference First Team last fall, has posted a 0.70 goals-against average, with 89 saves, eight shutouts and a 14-5-2 record in 1,800 minutes of action.  Corrigan, pictured at left, is the school's all-time leader in goalie victories with 51, and she holds the school mark for career shutouts with 34.  Corrigan became the fourth goalie in school history to reach 300 career saves in the Landmark Conference semifinal and is third with 312 saves.  Corrigan has also added one assist this fall on a breakaway goal by Fitzpatrick after a long punt.

Killea, pictured at right, has posted one goal and one assist from her defensive positions.  She has moved to sweeper due to an injury midway through the season.  Killea is just one of three Moravian players to start in all 21 matches this fall.

Frascella, pictured at left, has contributed three assists this season while also starting all 21 matches on Moravian’s defense that has posted 11 shutouts and allowed just 14 goals in 21 contests.

Caldas, pictured at right, has also added 11 goals and three assists for 25 points, and she has netted five game-winning goals including the Landmark Conference Championship winner in double overtime this past Saturday.
