THREE GREYHOUNDS NAMED TO LANDMARK MEN’S SOCCER ALL-CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM

MADISON, NJ --- Senior forward Louis Dollarton (Barrington, NJ/Haddon Heights HS), senior goalie Chris Nederostek (Lansdale, PA/Christopher Dock HS) and junior defender Gary Grimes (Howell, NJ/Christian Brothers Academy) of the Moravian College men’s soccer team have been named to the Landmark Men’s Soccer All-Conference Second Team announced Wednesday.

The trio helped the Greyhounds to a 6-9-2 record this season including four wins by shutout and a 1-4-2 mark in the Landmark Conference regular season.  Moravian dropped six of its nine losses by one goal, and two of the losses were in overtime.

Dollarton, who was also on the inaugural Landmark All-Conference Second Team a year ago, led Moravian in scoring this season for the second straight season with five goals and four assists for 14 points with one game-winning goal.  In his career, Dollarton, pictured at top right, has contributed 22 goals and 10 assists for 54 points in 65 career matches with seven game-winning goals.

Nederostek, pictured at left, posted a 1.74 goals-against average with 97 saves, three saves and five victories in 1,449 minutes of action in goal for the Greyhounds.  During his career, Nederostek had a 1.80 goals-against average with 264 saves, eight shutouts and 14 wins during his career.  Nederostek was a three-year starter in goal, seeing action in 48 matches and a total of 4,105 minutes.

Despite being one of Moravian’s defenders, Grimes, pictured at bottom right, was third on the team in scoring with four goals and three assists for 11 points while only taking nine shots this fall.
