SEVEN MORAVIAN FOOTBALL PLAYERS RANKED IN LATEST NCAA DIVISION III STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College football team has seven student-athletes ranked in the tenth NCAA Division III statistical rankings of 2008 through games of November 9th, and the Greyhounds are ranked in the top 50 in five team categories.

Senior running back Tyler McCambridge (Northampton, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) is 47th in rushing with 101.50 yards per game, tied for 80th in scoring at 7.50 points per contest and 31st in all-purpose yardage at 151.25yards per game.

Senior kicker Brian Reckenbeil (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville HS) is tied for fourth in the country in field goals per game at 1.44 while senior punter Michael Voskian (Brielle, NJ/Manasquan HS) is 38th in punting at 38.54 yards per punt. 

Senior defensive lineman Doug Bocchino (Madison, NJ/Madison HS) is 25th in sacks with 0.89 per game while sophomore wide receiver Alex Hersch (Macungie, PA/Emmaus HS) is tied for 87th in punt returns with an average of 7.77 yards per return. 

Senior defensive back Carl Robinson (Boothwyn, PA/Garnet Valley HS) is tied for 36th in the nation in interceptions at 0.56 per game while sophomore defensive back Daniel Burley (Easton, PA/Easton HS) is tied for 75nd in interceptions with 0.44 per contest.

Moravian is 37th in the nation in rushing offense at 205.67 yards per game, and the team is 15th in turnover margin at +1.22 per game, 33rd in pass efficiency defense with a 99.82 rating and 37th in scoring defense at 16.78 points allowed per game, and 47th in total defense at 292.78 yards per game.

The Greyhounds will close out the 2008 regular season on Saturday, November 15th in a Centennial Conference game versus rival Muhlenberg College with kickoff slated for 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field.
