THREE GREYHOUNDS NAMED TO LANDMARK FIELD HOCKEY ALL-CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM

MADISON, NJ --- Juniors forward Kayla Carson (Leesport, PA/Wyomissing HS), midfielder Julie Bisci (Phillipsburg, NJ/Phillipsburg HS) and defender Stephanie Dellaquilla (Woodbury, NJ/West Deptford HS) of the Moravian College field hockey team have been to the 2008 Landmark All-Conference Field Hockey Second Team announced Thursday.

The trio helped the Greyhounds to a 7-11 record this fall including a 1-5 record in Landmark Conference action.  Of Moravian’s 11 losses, two were to teams that were ranked nationally during the season, five were by one goal including one in overtime and one in penalty strokes.

Carson, who was on the Landmark All-Conference Second Team last fall, led Moravian in scoring with five goals and four assists for 14 points in 17 matches.  Carson, pictured at top right, had two game-winning goals this fall, and she has 14 goals and ten assists in three seasons at Moravian.

Bisci, pictured at left, also scored 14 points this year for the Greyhounds with five goals and four assists.  She started in all 18 contests and had one game-winning goal, and Bisci also made four defensive saves during the season.  Bisci has five goals and six assists in her career.

Dellaquilla, pictured at bottom right, had two defensive saves for Moravian while starting in all 18 matches.  Dellaquilla has a total of three defensive saves for her career with the Greyhounds.
