TWO GREYHOUNDS, TEAM RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III WOMEN’S LACROSSE STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Two members of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse team and the Greyhound squad are ranked in the fifth NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2009 season including games through April 12th.

Junior goalie Courtney Rosenberg (Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May Regional HS) is tenth in the nation in saves with 141, and Rosenberg, pictured at right, is 21st in saves per game with 12.0.  She has posted 141 saves in 12 matches this season.

Sophomore midfielder Sarah Carman (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge HS) is tied for 12th in the nation with an average of 4.42 ground balls per game.  Carman, pictured at left, has 53 ground balls in 12 matches.

Moravian is ranked 23rd in nation in ground balls per game at 25.58 with 307 ground balls in 12 matches.

The Greyhounds, who are 5-7 on the season, are scheduled to return to action on Thursday, April 16th in a non-conference match at Alvernia University at 4:00 p.m.
