MORAVIAN’S MARYKATE KELLY HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior MaryKate Kelly (Beach haven, NJ/Southern Regional HS) of the Moravian College women’s tennis team has been honored as the Landmark Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Kelly helped Moravian to its second straight Landmark Conference Championship with a perfect week in singles and doubles action.  Kelly won both of her singles matches in the Landmark Conference Tournament to finish her career with a 54-25 singles mark, the fourth most career singles wins in school history.  Kelly also won a pair of doubles matches with partner sophomore Kerry McKinley (Sparta, NJ/Pope John XXIII HS)Kelly has a career doubles mark of 40-21, tied for fourth in career victories.

Moravian completed its season with an overall record of 14-5 and earned its tenth conference title in the last 15 years.
