MORAVIAN’S CARMAN NAMED TO WOMEN’S LACROSSE LANDMARK ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS

MADISON, N.J. --- Sophomore midfielder Sarah Carman (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge HS) of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse team has been named to the 2009 Landmark All-Conference Second Team as released by the conference office.

Moravian had a 6-10 record this season, just the seventh year of the program as a varsity sport.  The Greyhounds dropped three matches by two or fewer goals that could have meant a second straight winning season for the program
           

led Moravian with 68 ground balls, 37 draw controls and 21 caused turnovers.  Carman had the Greyhounds’ top shooting percentage of .487, connecting on 38 of her 78 shots during the season.  She had five or more goals in four contests during the season and was held scoreless just twice this year.
