MORAVIAN’S MARY KING HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MADISON, NJ --- Junior middle blocker Mary King (Paramus, NJ/Paramus HS) of the Moravian College women’s volleyball team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week for her performance last week.
King helped Moravian to a 1-1 record in the final week of the regular season by averaging 2.33 kills and 4.17 points per set with a .488 hitting percentage. King had 13 kills, four blocks and two service aces in a 3-2 loss to regionally-ranked Lebanon Valley College. She then had eight kills, four blocks, two digs and nine service aces (the most in school history for a four-set match) in a 3-1 win over York College of Pennsylvania in the final match of the regular season.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, November 4th in a Landmark Conference quarterfinal match at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland beginning at 7:00 p.m.
