MORAVIAN COLLEGE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM IN
2010 NCAA DIVISION III NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s basketball team, which earned the Landmark Conference’s automatic berth into the field of 64 teams, has been selected to host the first and second rounds of the 2009-10 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament announced Monday.  

The Greyhounds will be hosting the first and second rounds in Johnston Hall with Moravian taking on Utica College in the first round while Farmingdale State College and Gettysburg College will play in the other first round game on Friday, March 5th at times to be announced.  The second round game between the winners of the first round on Saturday, March 6th.

Moravian has a 25-2 record on the year and will be making its eighth appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament and third in the last five years.  The Greyhounds are 7-8 all-time in the NCAA Tournament, playing for the national championship in 1991-92 and reaching the Sweet 16 in 1990-91 and 1992-93.
