MORAVIAN’S COURTNEY ROSENBERG HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE
WOMEN’S LACROSSE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior goalie Courtney Rosenberg (Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May Regional HS) of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Rosenberg helped Moravian to a 1-1 record last week.  She started the week with 21 saves in a 19-9 loss to NCAA Division II Assumption College to become the first goalie in Moravian history to surpass 400 career saves.  She then added three more saves while playing the first half of a 19-9 win at Neumann University.  Rosenberg has 418 saves in her career.

The Greyhound, who are 2-1 overall, are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, March 16th in a non-conference match versus Wesley (DE) College beginning at 4:30 p.m. on the HUB Quad in Bethlehem for Moravian’s first home contest of the season.
