FOUR GREYHOUNDS, TEAM RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III WOMEN’S LACROSSE STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Four members of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse and the Greyhound team is ranked in the third NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2010 season including games through March 21st.

Senior goalie Courtney Rosenberg (Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May Regional HS) is 12th in the nation in saves per game at 13.0, and Rosenberg, pictured at right, is 13th in saves with 64 and 39th in save percentage at .512.  She has posted 64 saves in five matches this season.

Senior midfielder Jillian Pagliei (Ivyland, PA/Council Rock North HS), pictured at left, is tied for 57th in goals with 18, tied for 61st in goals per game at 3.6, tied for 83rd in points with 21 and tied for 92nd in points per game with an average of 4.2 this season.

Junior midfielder Sarah Carman (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge HS), pictured at bottom right, is 85th in the nation with an average of 3.25 ground balls per game.

Senior midfielder Katie Wise (Ardsley, PA/Abington HS), pictured at bottom left, is 36th in the nation in ground balls per game with an average of 4.6 this spring.

Moravian tied for 40th in nation in ground balls per game at 23.00 with 115 ground balls in five matches.

The Greyhounds, who are 2-4 on the season, are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, March 30th in a non-conference match versus Alvernia University beginning at 4:00 p.m. on the HUB Quad in Bethlehem.
