MORAVIAN’S NICCO DALPIAZ HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
MADISON, NJ --- Sophomore pole vaulter/sprinter Nicco Dalpiaz (Sunbury, PA/Shikellamy HS) of the Moravian College men’s outdoor track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Dalpiaz won the pole vault event for the Greyhounds at the non-scored Lehigh games. The sophomore cleared 4.57 meters, his best mark of the season, which ranks in a tie for the second-best mark in the Landmark this season and is also an ECAC qualifying height.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, May 1st when they are set compete at the 2010 Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA.
