MORAVIAN NAMES KYLE MARTINELLI AS HEAD EQUIPMENT MANAGER

BETHLEHEM, PA --- Kyle Martinelli has been named the head equipment manager for the Moravian College athletic department.

“We are excited to have Kyle join our staff,” said Moravian College Director of Athletics Paul Moyer. “Kyle brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position after working with the Philadelphia Eagles organization.”

Martinelli will oversee a staff of two part-time assistant equipment managers as well as a student staff.  He will supervise all aspects of athletic equipment operations, and Martinelli will assist all staff with purchasing as well as become certified in equipment fitting.

Martinelli is a 2009 graduate of Temple University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Recreation Management.  He has served as a seasonal equipment manager for the Philadelphia Eagles, beginning in 2002 through last season, and he was a football operations/coaches intern with the Eagles last summer.  Martinelli is already a member of the America Equipment Managers Association.
