MORAVIAN’S ANNA HEIM HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior pole vaulter Anna Heim (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown HS) of the Moravian College women’s indoor track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Heim captured the pole vault at the non-scored Orange & Maroon Classic at Susquehanna University with an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying and ECAC qualifying height of 3.64 meters (11 feet, 11 1/4 inches).  Heim’s vault was the ninth best in school history, and she owns nine of the top ten vaults all-time at Moravian.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, January 30th at the Thomson Invitational hosted by the University of Delaware.
