MORAVIAN’S TRAVIS KING HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Freshman jumper/sprinter Travis King (Wilmington, DE/Concord HS) of the Moravian College men’s indoor track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

King, who was named the Landmark Conference Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week, helped Moravian tie for seventh of 13 NCAA Division II & III schools at the Thomson Invitational hosted by The University of Delaware. King took second in the triple jump with a leap of 13.30 meters (43 feet, 7 3/4 inches), the second best distance in the Landmark Conference this season, and the fourth longest in conference history indoors.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Friday and Saturday, February 5th and 6th at the New Balance Games at the New York City Armory.
