MORAVIAN’S HUGH RILEY NAMED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Freshman midfielder Hugh Riley (Tinton Falls, NJ/Monmouth Regional HS) of the Moravian College men’s soccer team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for his performance last week.

Riley led Moravian in scoring with two goals and an assist for five points in a 1-1 week last week.  He had a goal and an assist in a 5-2 loss at Muhlenberg College before Riley opened the scoring in a 3-1 win over Lebanon Valley College, a victory that snapped a four-match losing streak for the Greyhounds.

Moravian, which is 2-5 overall, is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, September 22nd in a non-conference match at DeSales University beginning at 4:00 p.m. in Center Valley.
