MORAVIAN’S SETH HARTMAN HONORED AS EMPIRE 8 CONFERENCE MEN’S GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ROCHESTER, N.Y. --- Senior Seth Hartman (Boyertown, PA/Boyertown HS) of the Moravian College golf team has been named the Empire 8 Conference Men’s Golf Player of the Week for his performance last week.

Hartman had a strong opening week to his senior season, averaging 76.3 strokes per round.  Hartman had an 81at the Woodstone Country Club in the season opening Moravian Fall Invitational, which was tied for 24th. 

Hartman then had an even-par round of 71 to open the Empire 8 Championships at the Yahnundasis Golf Club, and a second round of 77 to stand in first place individually after two rounds with a 148, a three stroke lead.  The Greyhounds are tied with St. John Fisher College for first place after the opening two rounds.  The final two rounds of the Empire 8 Conference Championships will be held at Woodstone Country Club on April 16th & 17th.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Monday, October 4th at the Lebanon Valley College Fall Invitational at the Lebanon Country Club.
