MORAVIAN TO INDUCT FOUR INTO ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME ON NOVEMBER 12TH
KEN RAMPOLLA NAMED HERBSTMAN AWARD WINNER

BETHLEHEM, PA --- Sharon Duffy Graham (Swarthmore, PA); Carli Miller Henichek (Breinigsville, PA); Amy Sandt Morgan (Allentown, PA) and Michael Paciulli (Lambertville, NJ) make up the class of 2010 that will be inducted into the Moravian College Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, November 12th in Johnston Hall. Also being honored at the 2010 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be Ken Rampolla (Bethlehem, PA) with the Robert Martin Herbstman Award and the 1996 women’s tennis team.

Graham, a 1990 Moravian graduate, was a four-year standout on the cross country and track & field teams.  On the cross country course, Graham earned All-Mideast Region honors as a junior, and she was a three-year captain and three-time member of the Middle Atlantic Conference All-Academic Team in both cross country and track & field.  On the track, Graham was the first Moravian female to qualify for the NCAA finals, making the championship race of the 10,000 meters in 1988.  Graham set three indoor and four outdoor track records during her career and also held the course record for cross country during her tenure.  As a senior, Graham earned both an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship and a spot on the GTE Academic All-America Women’s At-Large Third Team.  Graham, who works for the Department of Health and Human Services – Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, lives inSwarthmore, Pennsylvania, with her husband Richard Graham, also a 1990 Moravian graduate. They have two children, Leah (10) and William (8).

Henichek, who graduated from Moravian in 2000, was a four-year member of the women’s soccer team.  Henichek is the all-time leading scorer with 59 goals and 24 assists in her career for 142 points, the highest total for women or men in school history. She owns four of the top six individuals seasons in school history in goals with a school record 16 as a freshman, and Henichek has four of the top six scoring seasons including a school best 39 points in 1996.  Henichek was a three-time All-MAC Commonwealth All-Star, and she was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Mid-Atlantic All-Region Teams all four seasons.  Henichek, who works for the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit, lives in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania, with her husband Kevin Henichek.  They have one child, Zoe (2) and are expecting their second child in April 2011.

Morgan, who graduated in 2000, was a four-year standout on women’s volleyball team for the Greyhounds.  Morgan was named the MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year as a senior in 1999, and she was a three-time MAC Commonwealth All-Star during her career.  When Morgan graduated, she had a school record 1,492 kills, now third, and a school record 1,665 digs, still the highest total in school history.  Morgan helped the Greyhounds to three NCAA Division III Regional appearances and a record of 102-26, playing in 127 of those 128 matches.  Morgan, who currently works for OraSure Technologies, Inc., lives in Allentown, Pennsylvania with her husband, George Morgan.  They have two children, Addison (3) and Averie (1).

Paciulli, a member of the class of 1996, was a four-year letterwinner on the football team and two-year letterwinner on the baseball squad while attending Moravian.  Paciulli helped the football squad to a 27-12-1 record during his four seasons with a trip to the NCAA Division III Playoffs in 1993. As a senior, Paciulli was a MAC Commonwealth First Team All-Star and played in the USA-DIII All-Star Football Classic.  He was named to the MAC Commonwealth All-Star Second Team in 1995, and he earned a spot on the Hewlett-Packard Division III All-America Team.  Paciulli also earned GTE Academic All-AmericaCollege Division Second Team in 1995.  Paciulli, who works for Merck, livesin Lambertville, New Jersey with his wife, Traci Campbell Paciulli.  They have one child, Brooke (1).

Rampolla, a 1979 graduate, was a four-year letterwinner on the football team at Moravian.   During his career, Rampolla was a four-year starter at linebacker and offensive line.  Since graduating, Rampolla has remained active at his alma mater having co-founded the Blue & Grey Club, service as a current member of the Board of Trustees, serving as president of the Lehigh Valley Home Club and serving as Chairman of the Comenius Society along with his wife Anne M. Rampolla (McCandless), a 1979 Moravian graduate.  Rampolla, who owns Responsive Marketing Inc. (RMI), lives in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with his wife, Anne.  They have two children, Elizabeth (26) and Kenny T. (21).

The 1996 women’s tennis team posted a 16-1 overall record with a 7-0 mark in MAC Commonwealth action.  The squad, under the direction of head coach Dawn Ketterman-Benner, won the program’s first-ever MAC Team Champion and had the program’s first-ever MAC Individual Doubles Champion of Cluny Erickson Tierney and Lynne Grzywacz Webb.
