MORAVIAN’S SARAH HALPIN RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III WOMEN’S SOCCER STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Senior goalie Sarah Halpin (Downingtown, PA/Downingtown West HS) of the Moravian College women’s soccer team is ranked nationally in the third NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2010 season for matches through September 26th.

Halpin is tied for 56th in the nation in save percentage at .875.  Halpin has registered 63 saves on 72 shot attempts in seven matches this fall.  She had a career high 15 saves in a 2-0 loss at Dickinson College, the third match this season that she has recorded double-digit saves.

The Greyhounds, who are 2-6-2 on the season, will return to action on Saturday, October 2nd when they travel to Juniata College for a Landmark Conference match beginning at 1:00 p.m.
