SENIOR MAUREEN HELFERS RANKED IN NCAA FIELD HOCKEY STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Senior midfielder Maureen Helfers (Westbury, NY/W.T. Clarke HS) of the Moravian College field hockey team is ranked in the seventh NCAA Division III Field Hockey statistics release of the 2010 season for contests through October 24th.

Helfers is tied for 49th in the country with an average of 0.50 assists per game, with eight assists in Moravian’s 16 matches this year.  Helfers had her first seven assists of the year in the first six matches of the season.

The Greyhounds, who are 5-12 on the season, will close out the 2010 season on Saturday, October 30th in a Landmark Conference match at The Catholic University of America beginning at 2:00 p.m.
