MORAVIAN’S CHELSEA OTT NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, N.J. --- Sophomore Chelsea Ott (Allentown, PA/Dieurff HS) of the Moravian College women’s tennis team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Ott, pictured at right, had an undefeated week while helping Moravian to a 3-1 mark at the Spring TennisFest in Hilton Head, South Carolina.  Ott was 4-0 at first singles and 4-0 at second doubles, winning three matches with senior Elizabeth Endy (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin HS) and one with freshman Katie Zien (West Suffield, CT/Suffield HS).

The Greyhounds, 3-3 overall, are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, March 19th when the squad begins the 2011 Landmark Conference season with a 1:00 p.m. match versus Juniata College.  The contest is scheduled to be played at DeSales University.
