MORAVIAN’S SHANNEN MOHR NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, N.J. --- Sophomore third baseman Shannen Mohr (Slatington, PA/Parkland HS) of the Moravian College softball team has been named the Landmark Conference Softball Player of the Week for the second straight week for her performance last week.

Mohr was nearly perfect at the plate for the Greyhounds last week with an .889 average.  Mohr had hits in eight of nine at-bats to go with three runs, four RBIs and a double.  She was also hit by a pitch and walked for times to reach base in 13 of 14 plate appearances for a .929 on-base percentage to go with a 1.000 slugging percentage.  Mohr had a putout and eight assists in ten chances in the field during a 3-1 week for Moravian.

The 18th-ranked Greyhounds, who are 29-5 overall and 9-1 in Landmark Conference action, are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, April 26th in a non-conference doubleheader at DeSales University beginning at 4:00 p.m.
