MORAVIAN’S KEVIN O’KEEFE HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, N.J. --- Junior first baseman Kevin O’Keefe (Alexandria, VA/Bishop Ireton HS) of the Moravian College baseball team has been named the Landmark Conference Baseball Player of the Week for his performance last week.

O’Keefe, who won the award earlier this season on March 7th, hit .476 in a 4-0 week for the Greyhounds.  He had ten hits in 21 at-bats to go with seven runs, eight RBIs, two doubles, a walk, a hit by pitch, a stolen base, a .522 on-base percentage and a .571 slugging percentage.  O’Keefe also had 34 putouts and an assist in 36 chances in the field while being the only field player to see action in all 34 innings last week.

The Greyhounds, 25-7 overall and 13-1 in Landmark Conference action, are scheduled to return to action on Monday, April 25th in a Landmark Conference game at Drew University beginning at 3:30 p.m.
