MORAVIAN’S CADEE ROCKWELL NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

MADISON, N.J. --- Junior middle distance runner Cadee Rockwell (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson HS) of the Moravian College women’s track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Rockwell won the 800-meter run in a time of 2:23.79, and she captured the mile run in an ECAC qualifying time of 5:13.73 at the Thomson Invitational hosted by The University of Delaware.  The Greyhound women placed third of 15 teams in the DII/DIII scoring at the meet.

Moravian’s track & field teams will return to action on Saturday, February 5th when they travel to Massachusetts Institute of Technology for a quad match with Williams College and the United States Coast Guard Academy.
