MORAVIAN’S ERIC WOODRUFF NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

MADISON, N.J. --- Senior sprinter Eric Woodruff (Brodheadsville, PA/Pius X HS) of the Moravian College men’s track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

Woodruff, who earned Athlete of the Week honors for the third time this season, set a pair of school record for Moravian at the Lafayette College-Rider University Winter Games at the NYC Armory, winning the 60-meter dash in an NCAA Division III provisional and ECAC qualifying time of 6.87 seconds, and capturing the 200-meter dash with an ECAC qualifying time of 21.55 seconds.  Woodruff was also part of the 4x400-meter relay squad, which placed fifth in a time of 3:28.78.

Moravian’s track & field teams will return to action on Saturday, February 19th when they travel to Susquehanna University Indoor Open in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
