MORAVIAN’S CADEE ROCKWELL HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

MADISON, N.J. --- Junior distance runner Cadee Rockwell (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson West Lawn HS) of the Moravian College women’s track & field team has been honored as the Landmark Conference Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Rockwell, who earns the award for the third time this season, captured the 800-meter run at the Susquehanna University Indoor Open in an ECAC qualifying time of 2:21.03 to lead Moravian on the track.  The time was also a Landmark Conference record by more than two seconds.

Moravian’s track & field teams will return to action on Saturday, February 26th when they travel to defend their conference title at the 2011 Landmark Conference Championships hosted by Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
