RICKARDS EARNS REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL HONORS

BETHLEHEM, PA --- Senior middle blocker Stephanie Rickards (Lansdowne/Upper Darby HS) of the Moravian College women’s volleyball team has been honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Rickards was named to the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic All-Region team for the second consecutive season after leading the Lady Greyhounds to a 27-7 overall record and the school’s second straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Rickards completed the season with a .368 hitting percentage along with a school record 468 kills and 105 blocks to lead the Lady Greyhounds. She also had 276 digs and 38 service aces. Rickards is currently playing forward on the Moravian women’s basketball team, which will open its season next Tuesday, November 24^th at Allentown College.

Rickards is now eligible for a spot on the AVCA All-America Team.
