MORAN & COUGHLIN NAMED MAC ALL-STARS
ANNVILLE, PA --- Seniors Jason Moran (Scranton/West Scranton HS) of the Moravian
College mens basketball team and Jessie Coughlin (Bethlehem/Bethlehem Catholic
HS) from the womens basketball squad have been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference
Commonwealth League All-Star teams released Wednesday.
Moran, a forward, earned first team honors for the second straight season while Coughlin,
a guard, was honored for the second time on the second team and the third time in her career.
Coughlin was a second team honoree as a sophomore and was a member of the all-star first
team last year.
Moran guided the Greyhounds to a 10-14 overall by leading the team in scoring with 16.1
points per game, in rebounding with 8.3 boards a contest and blocked shots with 33. He
finished his career with 1,469 points, fourth all-time in school history, and 764 rebounds,
third all-time, in 96 games.
Coughlin led the Lady Greyhounds to their 19th straight winning season with
a 14-10 record. She topped the squad in scoring at 12.6 points per game and also had a
team leading 69 steals. Coughlin completed her career with 1,137 points, seventh in school
history, 346 assists, second all-time, 312 steals, second all-time, and 166 three-pointers,
third all-time, in 99 games.
Both Coughlin and Moran served as co-captains of their teams this past season.
