KRAMER NAMED MAC COMMONWEALTH PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ANNVILLE, PA --- Senior setter Kaitie Kramer (Bethlehem/Bethlehem Catholic HS) of the Moravian College women’s volleyball team has been named the MAC Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Kramer led the Lady Greyhounds to a 4-1 week and a second place finish at the Green Terror Invitational hosted by Western Maryland College over the weekend. Kramer was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Green Terror Invitational.

Moravian defeated St. Mary’s (MD) College, 3-0, Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, 3-0, and Lycoming College, 3-1, before falling to Franklin & Marshall College, 3-0, in the championship match. The Lady Greyhounds also defeated Widener University, 3-0, in MAC Commonwealth Conference action last week.

Last week, Kramer made 200 assists in 16 games for an average of 12.5 assists per game. She also added 26 kills, 57 digs and seven service aces. Kramer’s hitting percentage last week was .377.

Moravian is 16-6 overall this season and can clinch a spot in the MAC playoffs with a victory over Messiah College on Wednesday, October 20th at 7:00 p.m. in Grantham. Moravian and Messiah are currently tied for second place in the MAC Commonwealth Conference with 4-1 records in conference play.
