KALBFLEISCH & DREY NAMED MAC FIELD HOCKEY ALL-STARS

ANNVILLE, PA --- Senior left back Julie Kalbfleisch (Warminster/William Tennent HS) of the Moravian College field hockey team was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth All-Star First Team while senior link Nicole Drey (Bethlehem/Northampton HS) earned second team honors.

Kalbfleisch, who was the Lady Greyhounds leading returning scorer headed into the 1999 season, moved to a more defensive position this fall and helped Moravian post a 1.96 goals against average and one shutout during the 1999 campaign. Kalbfleisch was also a member of the MAC Commonwealth Conference All-Star First Team in 1998. In her career, Kalbfleisch scored 18 points on seven goals and four assists.

Drey, who played in all 17 matches this season for Moravian, tallied one goal on the year and finished her career with the Lady Greyhounds with two goals.

Moravian had a 3-14 record this season.
