The Greyhounds played long ball in the contest with all five run scoring on homers. Senior designated player Richelle McWilliams (Riegelsville, PA/Easton HS) started the scoring in the second inning with a solo home run, her fourth round-tripper of the season. Sophomore third baseman Kelly Santry (Hatboro, PA/Upper Moreland HS) followed with a solo homer, her first of the year, to give Moravian a 2-0 lead. Santry tied the school record for homers in a game with another solo home run in her next at-bat in the fourth inning. In the top of the seventh, McWilliams singled before Santry connected on her third homer of the game to finish off the scoring. Santry's three home runs and 12 total bases break records set by former Greyhound Janelle Brey. Moravian finished the game with 14 hits including Santry's three homers and McWilliams two hits. Freshman outfielder Erica Kelpeisz (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth HS) and freshman shortstop Jordan Oplinger (Allentown, PA/Parkland HS) each had two hits as well. After a sacrifice bunt and a ground out, Hennessy scored on an RBI single by junior catcher Danielle Carrione (Bloomfield, NJ/Mt. St. Dominic HS).
