For the second straight season, the Greyhounds ended their season with a loss to Carnegie Mellon University in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III South Championships. Moravian, the top seed and host, won the first game 30-22, but dropped the next three, 23-30, 28-30, 31-33, to the fourth seeded Tartans. Senior outside hitter Kim Zipf led the Greyhounds with 17 kills and 16 digs. She finishes her career with a school record 1,516 kills. Junior outside hitter Christina Wallace had 14 kills, nine digs and four service aces for the Greyhounds while sophomore middle hitter Lindsay Siracusa contributed 15 kills, six digs and two service aces. Freshman setter Valerie Korsak controlled the Moravian offense with 51 assists, and she added nine digs, seven kills and two service aces. Senior middle hitter Shannon McNeil and senior right side hitter Sara Hollenbacher each had six kills in their final match with McNeil adding six digs and three blocks and Hollenbacher contributing four digs. At Juniata College in Commonwealth Conference Championship – Lost 3-0 -     Box Score

The Juniata College women’s volleyball team captured its 25th consecutive Commonwealth Conference Championship with a 30-26, 30-12, 30-15 victory over Moravian College in the 2003 Commonwealth Conference Championship match The Eagles, the top ranked team in the nation in the latest the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Poll, improved to 36-0 this season and won their 264th consecutive conference match. Juniata now advances to the 2003 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament with the conference’s automatic bid while the Greyhounds fall to 26-9 this fall and will wait until Monday, November 10th to see if the squad receives its third straight berth in the Eastern College Athletic Conference South Championships. This was the eighth straight year that Juniata and Moravian had played for the conference championship. The loss also snapped a six-match winning streak for the Greyhounds. Sophomore middle hitter Lindsey Siracusa led the Greyhounds with nine kills while freshman setter Valerie Korsak added 21 assists and seven digs. Junior outside hitter Christina Wallace contributed six digs and three service aces while senior right side hitter Sara Hollenbacher had five kills, four digs and two blocks. At Lebanon Valley College in Commonwealth Conference Semifinals – Won 3-0 - Box Score

Moravian advanced to the Commonwealth Conference Championship match for the eighth straight season with a 30-28, 30-25, 30-21 victory over second seed Lebanon Valley College in a semifinal contest. The Greyhounds, the third seed in the tournament, will travel to top seeded Juniata College for the eighth consecutive season for the Commonwealth Conference Championship. Juniata has won 24 straight conference titles and 263 conference matches. In the match against Lebanon Valley College, junior outside hitter Christina Wallace had 19 kills, six digs and two service aces while sophomore middle hitter Lindsey Siracusa had nine kills, five digs and six blocks. Freshman setter Valerie Korsak added 42 assists and nine digs. Senior right side hitter Mary Kate Cordisco contributed seven kills, eight digs and four blocks while senior middle hitter Shannon McNeil had six kills and two blocks. The Greyhounds captured the championship of the Bridgewater State (MA) College Halloween Classic, defeating the host school, Bridgewater State, 25-30, 30-22, 30-22, 30-28. Moravian finished the tournament with a 4-0 record. Sophomore middle hitter Lindsey Siracusa was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player after contributing 17 kills and six blocks in the Greyhounds' final match of the regular season. Moravian junior outside hitter Christina Wallace was named to the All-Tournament team after having 16 kills, 11 digs and four blocks versus Bridgewater State. Senior middle hitter Shannon McNeil added six kills, seven blocks and three digs while senior right side hitter Mary Kate Cordisco had six kills, four digs and three service aces. Senior right side hitter Sara Hollenbacher contributed four kills, four digs, five blocks and a pair of service aces while freshman setter Valerie Korsak had 40 assists, six digs, four blocks and two kills. Moravian opened the Bridgewater State (MA) College Halloween Classic with a 30-19, 30-21, 30-15 victory over the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. Senior middle hitter Shannon McNeil and sophomore middle hitter Lindsey Siracusa each had ten kills to lead the Greyhounds. McNeil added two digs and two blocks while Siracusa had three digs and a block. The Greyhounds clinched their eight straight postseason appearance with a 23-30, 30-21, 30-26, 30-28 victory over Messiah College in Commonwealth Conference action. Moravian will travel to Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday, November 5th for the Commonwealth Conference Semifinals. Sophomore middle hitter Lindsey Siracusa led the Greyhounds with 12 kills and five blocks in the victory while senior right side hitter Sara Hollenbacher had 11 kills without a hitting error, five blocks and five digs. Senior middle hitter Shannon McNeil also had 11 kills to go with three blocks and four digs. Freshman setter Valerie Korsak, starting for injured senior setter Amy Lawrence, had 37 assists, ten digs, seven kills and two service aces while junior outside hitter Christina Wallace contributed 17 digs, nine kills and seven service aces. Senior right side hitter Mary Kate Cordisco had eight kills, two blocks and two service aces in the match while senior libero Alissa Bucsi had 20 digs. Bucsi biggest dig of the night came with the score tied 28-28. She had a ball bounce off her head then the roof of Johnston Hall before Moravian kept it in play to get the point and the victory. Wallace followed up the play with a service ace to win the match. Senior defensive specialist Andrea Frankenfield had seven digs and three service aces while senior outside hitter Kim Zipf, limited to action in the back row by an injury, had eight digs and one kill, the 1,499 kill of her career. Zipf needs just one kill to become the only player in Moravian history with 1,500 career kills.

Moravian moved into the championship bracket of the 1st Annual Greyhound Premiere Invitational with a 30-2, 30-16, 30-16 victory over Washington (MD) College in the Greyhounds' second match of the first round. In the first game of the contest, Moravian senior right-side hitter Mary Kate Cordisco broke the school record for service aces in a match with 15 of her school record 18 service aces in the first game. The previous school record was nine service aces for an entire match. Cordisco, who also had two kills and five digs in the match, also set the NCAA Division III record for consecutive points served in a game, serving 25 straight points from a 1-1 tie to a 26-1 Moravian lead.
