The 2004 Moravian College women’s volleyball team posted a 15-17 overall record with a 2-5 Commonwealth Conference record. Twelfth-year head coach Shelley Bauder had junior middle hitter Lindsey Siracusa (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury HS) named the All-Commonwealth Conference First Team, the American Volleyball Coaches Association Mid-Atlantic all-Region Team and the AVCA Honorable Mention All-America squad.

The only senior of this year’s squad, Christina Wallace (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic HS) was a key outside hitter. She put up 402 kills, 18 assists, 238 digs, 49 service aces, and 23 blocks. Sophomore Kelly Bauer (Hellertown, PA/Notre Dame HS) was the next big outside hitter with 328 kills, 20 assists, 39 service aces, 311 digs, and 34 blocks. Freshmen outside hitters Rachel Radocha (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall HS) and Jeanine Rausch (Hatfield, PA/Lansdale Catholic HS) also contributed for the Greyhounds. Radocha added 103 kills, 63 assists, 24 service aces, 203 digs, and 23 blocks. Rausch had three service aces and seven digs.

Freshman right side hitter Katherine Perkins (Lehighton, PA/Lehighton HS) helped out with 53 kills, 527 assists, three service aces, 15 digs, and 47 blocks. Sophomore defensive specialist Ashley Hugo (Bath, PA/Northampton HS) lead the team in assists with 644. She also added 11 kills, 21 service aces, 144 digs and one block. Perkins and Hugo split time at setter due to an injury that kept sophomore setter Valerie Korsak (Coplay, PA/Whitehall HS) on the sideline all season.

Freshmen defensive specialists Christa Burke (Center Valley, PA/Southern Lehigh HS) and Elise Martin (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus HS) helped out where they could. Martin contributed two kills, four assists, seven service aces, and 206 digs, while Burke added three assists, ten service aces, and 42 digs.
