Score
Fourth seeded Moravian was knocked out of the 2005 Commonwealth Conference
Tournament in a 30-13, 30-15, 30-19 loss to top seed and nationally-ranked
Juniata College in a semifinal match. The Eagles, ranked second in the
country this week, will host second seeded Lebanon Valley College, a
3-0 winner over Elizabethtown College in the other semifinal match,
in the championship match. Junior outside hitter Kelly Bauer led Moravian
with five kills and 16 digs while junior setter Valerie Korsak added
14 assists, ten digs and three kills. Senior middle hitter Lindsey Siracusa
contributed four kills and two blocks while sophomore right side hitter
Katherine Perkins had three blocks for the Greyhounds. Sophomore outside
hitter Rachel Radocha added three kills and five digs while sophomore
defensive specialist Christa Burke added two service aces. Moravian,
which is now 21-10 on the season, will wait until Monday, November 7th
to see if the program will receive its fourth Eastern College Athletic
Conference Division III Southern Championship Tournament berth in the
last five years.

season. The victory clinches the Flying Dutchmen the second seed in
the Commonwealth Conference Tournament which begins on November 2nd
while the Greyhounds drop to the fourth seed for the tournament. Junior
outside hitter Kelly Bauer led the Greyhounds with 14 kills and 22 digs
in the match while senior middle hitter Lindsey Siracusa had ten kills,
four blocks and five digs. Sophomore outside hitter Rachel Radocha had
eight kills and 14 digs for Moravian while junior setter Valerie Korsak
added 38 assists and 11 digs. Sophomore middle hitter Jenna Wallace
had six kills. Sophomore defensive specialist Christa Burke had five
digs and two service aces while freshman setter Stephanie Struble added
six digs. Sophomore defensive specialist Elise Martin had four digs

the ninth time in ten years that Moravian has won at least 20 matches
in a season, including eight straight years from 1996 to 2003. Sophomore
middle hitter Jenna Wallace paced the Greyhounds with 20 kills and three
blocks while junior outside hitter Kelly Bauer added 15 kills, 11 digs
and two service aces. Senior middle hitter Lindsey Siracusa contributed
eight kills to raise her school career record to 1,528, and she had
two blocks in the match. Sophomore outside hitter Rachel Radocha had
seven kills and five digs while junior setter Valerie Korsak had 42
assists, seven digs, four kills and two blocks in the victory. Junior
libero Ashley Hugo added four digs while junior outside hitter Jodie

The Greyhounds snapped a four-match losing streak and senior middle
hitter Lindsey Siracusa became Moravian's all-time leader in kills as
the team defeated host McDaniel College, 35-33, 30-17, 23-30, 30-23
in the final match of the 24th Annual Green Terror Invitational. Siracusa
had 18 kills in the match to improve her career total to 1,520 kills,
surpassing Kim Zipf's previous school record of 1,516. Siracusa also
had five blocks in the victory. Sophomore outside hitter Rachel Radocha
added 12 kills while junior outside hitter Kelly Bauer had 11 kills
and 15 digs. Junior setter Valerie Korsak contributed 45 assists, seven
kills, seven digs and five blocks while sophomore middle hitter Jenna
Wallace had six kills and two blocks. Sophomore right side hitter Katherine

Most Valuable Player while junior outside hitter Kelly Bauer earned
a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Siracusa had 16 kills, four blocks
and two service aces. The 16 kills give Siracusa 1,402 in her career,
the fourth player in Moravian history to reach 1,400 career kills. Sophomore

each had 13 kills in the championship match with Radocha adding six
