Fifth seeded Moravian saw its 2006 season come to a close in a 27-30,
30-26, 30-22, 30-22 loss to fourth seed Franklin & Marshall College
in the quarterfinals of the 2006 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference
South Championships being hosted by New Jersey City University. Senior
outside hitter Kelly Bauer led the Greyhounds in her final collegiate
match with 16 kills, seven digs and a pair of service aces while senior
setter Valerie Korsak had 33 assists, two kills and four digs in her
final match. Sophomore outside hitter Maria DeBonis contributed 13 kills,
seven digs and two service aces while junior middle hitter Jenna Wallace
had six kills. Junior middle hitter Katherine Perkins had three kills
and five blocks for Moravian while sophomore libero Stephanie Struble
had a team high 11 digs to go with a pair of service aces. Senior defensive
specialist Ashley Hugo had six digs in her final collegiate contest
while freshman middle hitter Alison Whitaker had one kill for the Greyhounds.

The third seeded Greyhounds fell to second seed Elizabethtown College,
30-22, 30-20, 30-15, in a Commonwealth Conference semifinal. Senior
outside hitter Kelly Bauer paced Moravian with 11 kills and six digs
while senior setter Valerie Korsak had 25 assists. Senior defensive
specialist Ashley Hugo and sophomore libero Stephanie Struble each had
a team high 12 digs for the Greyhounds while sophomore outside hitter
Maria DeBonis had seven kills, seven digs and two service aces. Junior
middle hitter Jenna Wallace had five kills as the Greyhounds competed
in the conference tournament for the ninth time in the last ten years.

Moravian dropped its final match of the 2006 regular season, falling
to York College of Pennsylvania, 22-30, 17-30, 30-26, 30-19, 15-10 in
a non-conference match in Johnston Hall. The Greyhounds won the first
two games in the match before the Spartans rallied for three straight
wins and the victory. Sophomore outside hitter Maria DeBonis led the
Greyhounds with 22 kills, and she added six digs, two service aces and
two blocks while senior outside hitter Kelly Bauer had 18 kills and
11 digs. Junior middle hitter Jenna Wallace had team highs of six blocks
and four service aces for Moravian to go along with 13 kills while junior
middle hitter Katherine Perkins contributed five kills. Senior setter
Valerie Korsak had 45 assists for the Greyhounds while sophomore libero
Stephanie Struble added a team high 19 digs to go with three service
aces. Senior defensive specialist Ashley Hugo had six digs in her final

Vs. Gwynedd-Mercy College – Cancelled
Moravian's non-conference match versus Gwynedd-Mercy College scheduled
as the first part of a tri-match with York College of Pennsylvania for
Saturday, October 28th has been cancelled. The contest will not be rescheduled
this season, and Moravian's match with York has been moved up to a 1:00
p.m. start time.
Vs. The University of Scranton – Cancelled
Moravian's non-conference match versus The University of Scranton scheduled
for Thursday, October 26th has been cancelled with the Royals needing
to make-up a Freedom Conference match. The contest will not be rescheduled
this season.
Vs. Lebanon Valley College – Won 3-1

Moravian clinched the third seed in the 2006 Commonwealth Conference
Tournament with a 30-20, 28-30, 30-28, 31-29 victory over Lebanon Valley
College in the conference regular season finale in Johnston Hall. The
Greyhounds will travel to Elizabethtown College, the second seed, for
a semifinal match on November 1st. Senior outside hitter Kelly Bauer
led the Greyhounds with 18 kills, nine digs, three service aces and
three blocks while junior middle hitter Jenna Wallace contributed 14
kills and four blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Maria DeBonis had 11
kills, ten digs and a pair of blocks in the victory while senior setter
Valerie Korsak had 53 assists to go with six digs and a pair of kills.
Junior outside hitter Rachel Radocha added nine kills for the Greyhounds
while junior middle hitter Katherine Perkins had five kills and three
blocks. Sophomore libero Stephanie Struble served a team high four aces
to go with eight digs while senior defensive specialist Ashley Hugo
had a team high 11 digs. Junior defensive specialist Elise Martin added
six digs and a service ace in the win. Natalie Goodfellow led Lebanon
Valley with 21 kills and 18 digs while Margaret Prebula had 20 kills.
Erin Yost led the Flying Dutchmen with 51 assists.

streak for the Greyhounds. Senior outside hitter Kelly Bauer led the
Greyhounds with 21 kills, six digs, three service aces and two blocks
while junior middle hitter Jenna Wallace contributed 20 kills. Senior
setter Valerie Korsak ran the Moravian offense with 50 assists to go
along with seven digs and three kills while junior outside hitter Rachel
Radocha had 13 kills and six digs. Sophomore outside hitter Maria DeBonis
contributed nine kills and five digs for the Greyhounds while junior

specialist Ashley Hugo took over the serve and scored eight straight
points for the victory. Hugo finished the match with a team high five
service aces, including one to win the match, and six digs. Senior outside
hitter Kelly Bauer and junior middle hitter Jenna Wallace each had 13
kills for Moravian with Bauer adding ten digs and Wallace contributing
five blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Maria DeBonis had ten kills, eight

Korsak had 34 assists, nine digs, three kills and two blocks. Sophomore
libero Stephanie Struble was also key at the service line as the Greyhounds
came back in the final game, and she had ten digs in the contest. Junior

Moravian won its final match at the Gettysburg College Battlefield
Classic, defeating conference rival Messiah College, 30-28, 30-22, 25-30,
30-17. Junior middle hitter Jenna Wallace led the Greyhounds with 14
kills and three blocks while senior outside hitter Kelly Bauer added
12 kills and eight digs. Senior setter Valerie Korsak contributed 38
assists, 12 digs, six kills and three service aces for Moravian while
sophomore outside hitter Maria DeBonis and junior outside hitter Rachel
Radocha each had six kills. DeBonis added 11 digs, three service aces
and three blocks while Radocha contributed three blocks, eight digs
and two service aces. Junior middle hitter Katherine Perkins had five
kills and four blocks while sophomore setter/libero Stephanie Struble
added a team high 17 digs for the Greyhounds.

in the first match on the second day of the Gettysburg College Battlefield
Classic. Senior outside hitter Kelly Bauer and junior outside hitter
Rachel Radocha each had eight kills for Moravian with Bauer adding nine
kills and two service aces. Senior setter Valerie Korsak had 28 assists,
eight digs and five kills while junior middle hitter Jenna Wallace had
six kills. Sophomore outside hitter Maria DeBonis contributed five kills
and nine digs while sophomore setter/libero Stephanie Struble had a
team high 21 digs.

The Greyhounds began the 2006 Gettysburg College Battlefield Classic
with a 24-30, 31-29, 30-23, 30-24 loss to Catholic University. Senior
setter Valerie Korsak had a triple-double for the Moravian in the loss
with 49 assists, ten kills and ten digs. Sophomore outside hitter Maria
DeBonis paced the Greyhounds with 15 kills, eight digs and three service
aces while senior outside hitter Kelly Bauer and junior middle hitter
Jenna Wallace each had 14 kills. Bauer also contributed ten digs and
three service aces while Wallace had two blocks. Junior outside hitter
Rachel Radocha added 11 kills and six digs while junior middle hitter
Katherine Perkins had four kills and three blocks for Moravian. Sophomore
setter/libero Stephanie Struble led the Greyhounds with 18 digs and
she added a pair of service aces while sophomore setter Elisa Molchany
had eight digs. Senior defensive specialist Ashley Hugo added five digs
for Moravian.

30-18 in non-conference action. Senior outside hitter Kelly Bauer led
the Greyhounds with 14 kills and seven digs while sophomore outside
hitter Maria DeBonis added 13 kills. Senior setter Valerie Korsak had
44 assists to go along with five digs while junior middle hitter Jenna
Wallace had 11 kills, three blocks and three service aces in the victory.
Junior outside hitter Rachel Radocha had four kills, five digs and three
blocks while junior middle hitter Katherine Perkins added three kills
and three blocks for the Greyhounds. Molly Motley led the Bulldogs with
nine kills while Gia Zimmerman had 12 digs. Sharon Uliana had 18 assists
and eight digs for DeSales.

The Greyhounds fell in the championship match of the 4th Annual Greyhound
Premiere Invitational in Timothy Breidegam Fieldhouse, falling to Eastern
University, 28-30, 25-30, 22-30. Junior middle hitter Jenna Wallace
led Moravian with 12 kills while sophomore outside hitter Maria DeBonis
had nine kills and ten digs for Moravian. Senior outside hitter Kelly
Bauer added 13 digs and seven kills while senior setter Valerie Korsak,
who was named to All-Tournament Team, contributed 33 assists and nine
digs. Sophomore setter/libero Stephanie Struble had a career high 23
digs while junior middle hitter Katherine Perkins had five kills. Junior
outside hitter Rachel Radocha had four kills and nine digs for Moravian.
Emma Klein led Eastern with 13 kills while Kara Hildebrand added 12
kills. Mandy Platt had seven kills and seven blocks for the Eagles while

Moravian won its first match in the championship bracket of the 4th
Annual Greyhound Premiere Invitational in Timothy Breidegam Fieldhouse,
defeating rival Muhlenberg College, 31-29, 30-16, 30-27. The Greyhounds
trailed by as many as four points in the third game before rallying
for the win. Senior outside hitter Kelly Bauer paced Moravian with 16
kills, ten digs and two service aces while junior middle hitter Jenna
Wallace had ten kills and two blocks. Senior setter Valerie Korsak controlled
the Greyhound offense with 34 assists to go with 13 digs, three kills
and two service aces while junior outside hitter Rachel Radocha added
nine kills and four digs. Sophomore outside hitter Maria DeBonis had
five kills and five digs while junior middle hitter Katherine Perkins
added four kills. Sophomore setter/libero Stephanie Struble contributed
13 digs for the Greyhounds. Kate Haggerty led Muhlenberg with ten kills
and two blocks while Phylicia Lee and Danielle Losonci each has 12 digs.
Megan Eisner added 12 assists, ten digs and five kills for the Mules
while Liz Leslie had seven kills and two blocks. Christina Cangelosi
and Tiffany Elliott each had ten digs for Muhlenberg with Elliott adding
