At 2006 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional hosted by Waynesburg College - 23rd of 41 - Moravian Individual Results

The Greyhounds closed out the 2006 season with a 23rd place finish of 41 schools at the 2006 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional hosted by Waynesburg Collge. Dickinson College won the meet with a score of 49 points while Haverford College was second at 104 points. Moravian posted a team score of 606. Sophomore Kayla Teeling earned All-Region honors for the Greyhounds, placing 17th of the 281 runners on the 6,000-meter course in a time of 24:20. Sophomore Kelly Williams was 98th overall with a time of 26:34 while junior Katie Pulizzano took 151st in 27:36. Sophomore Naomie Kachel was 156th in the race in 27:41 while sophomore Stephanie Miller placed 207th in a time of 29:18 and senior Jennifer Connolly took 208th position in a time of 29:20 in her final collegiate race.

At 2006 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by DeSales University  - 6th of 14 - Moravian Individual Results

Moravian placed sixth of 14 schools at the 2006 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by DeSales University. The Greyhounds posted a team score of 177 points, just three points behind Susquehanna University while Messiah College won the 2006 title with a score of 54 points on the rain-soaked course. Moravian sophomore Kayla Telling earned All-Middle Atlantic Conference honors in her first year at the meet, finishing third overall in the 6,000-meter race in a time of 25:48.23. Sophomore Kelly Williams missed All-Conference honors by two spots, placing 22nd of 132 runners in 26:59.51 while junior Krystyn Fenon was 50th overall in a time of 28:20.81. Sophomore Naomie Kachel was 64th for the Greyhounds in 29:00.91 while junior Katie Pulizzano placed 69th in 29:06.07 and senior Jennifer Connolly took 76th in a time of 29:40.07.

At DeSales University Invitational  - 7th of 24 - Moravian Individual Results

The Greyhounds finished in seventh place of 24 schools in the DeSales University Invitational, Moravian's final tune-up before the 2006 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships that will also be at DeSales University. Moravian, running on a 6,000-meter course for the first time this season, had a team score of 237 while Elizabethtown College won the meet with a team score of 93. Sophomore Kayla Teeling led the Greyhounds with a 5th place finish among the 214 runners in a time of 24:35.64. Sophomore Kelly Williams placed 28th overall in 25:47.98 while sophomore Naomie Kachel was 66th in a time of 27:06.08. Junior Katie Pulizzano turned in a time of 27:13.66, good enough of 72nd place, while junior Krystyn Fenon was 84th in 27:24.26. Senior Jennifer Connolly placed 93rd in a time of 27:54.64 while sophomore Stephanie Miller finished 111th in 28:25.56 to round out the Moravian competitors.

At College Misericordia Cougar Classic - 2nd of 7 - Moravian Individual Results

Moravian placed second of seven schools at the College Misericordia Cougar Classic with a team score of 42 points, just one point behind winner Marywood University. Sophomore Kayla Teeling paced the Greyhounds on the 5,000-meter course with a time of 19:31, which was third of 61 runners in the meet. Sophomore Kelly Williams finished seventh in a time of 20:14 while sophomore Naomie Kachel was tenth in 20:38. Junior Katie Pulizzano took 15th for Moravian in 21:07 while junior Krystyn Fenon was 16th in a time of 21:22. Senior Jennifer Connolly rounded out the Moravian runners with a 23rd place finish in a time of 21:54.

At Mule/Falcon Classic - 1st of 13 - Moravian Individual Results

The Greyhounds won the Mule/Falcon Classic hosted by Cedar Crest College with a team score of 46 points. Moravian was 12 points ahead of runner-up DeSales University. Sophomore Kayla Teeling paced Moravian on the 5,000-meter course, finishing second overall in a time of 20:51.40. Sophomore Lisa Stengel was fourth of the 108 runners in 21:10.20 while sophomore Kellie Williams placed sixth in a time of 21:36.10. Junior Katie Pulizzano took 11th place for the Greyhounds in 22:09.50 while sophomore Naomie Kachel was 23rd in 22:44.70. Rounding out Moravian's runners were senior Jennifer Connolly in 31st place in a time of 23:24.30 and junior Catelyn Savoth in 82nd place at 27:05.30.

At Marywood University Labor Day Invitational - 2nd of 7 - Moravian Individual Results

The Moravian College women's cross country team opened the 2006 season with a second place finish in the seven-team Marywood University Labor Day Invitational. The Greyhounds had a team score of 45 points, just four points behind the host Pacers. Individually for Moravian, sophomore Kayla Teeling was fourth on the 5,000-meter course in a time of 20:28 while sophomore Kelly Williams finished eighth in 21:34. Junior Katie Pulizzano placed tenth for the Greyhounds in a time of 22:01 followed by sophomore Naomie Kachel in 11th at 22:16 and junior Krystyn Fenon in 12th at 22:29. Senior Jennifer Connolly was 15th for the Greyhounds in the 66-runner field with a time of 22:49 while freshman Laura Smith finished 56th in a time of 28:25.
