The Greyhounds closed out the 2006 season with a 16-9 loss to King's College in a Middle Atlantic Conference match on the HUB Quad. The Monarchs, who clinched a playoff berth with the win and Elizabethtown College's victory, had a 32-19 advantage in shots and an 11-10 edge in draw controls while Moravian had a 23-22 edge in ground balls. Junior midfielder Lindsey Lustrino netted five goals for the Greyhounds, becoming the first player in the history of the program to score more than 50 goals in a season as she finished 2006 with 52 goals. Freshman midfielder Georgia Castellano, senior midfielder Jessica Cordani, sophomore midfielder Robyn Klem and sophomore attack Casey Simpson each found the back of the cage once for Moravian. Klem scooped up a team high five ground balls while senior midfielder Kindal Estes won five draw controls. Junior defender Jenna Abramson added four ground balls and two draw controls for the Greyhounds. Sophomore goalie Laura Schantz had 13 saves and three ground balls in the match for Moravian. Grace King led King's with seven goals while Lindsay Sabo added four goals and an assist. Melissa Gates had two goals for the Monarchs while Jenifer Marrosu, Erica Kovats and Kim Murray each found the back of the cage once. Sara Alesso had two assists while Karen Harp added one assist for King's. Goalie Heather Kelly made save saves for the Monarchs.

Moravian won its final non-conference match and its last road contest of the 2006 season, defeating Centenary (NJ) College, 11-7. The Greyhounds jumped out to a 3-0 lead but saw the Cyclones tie the match at 3-3. Moravian scored the final two goals of the first half and the first two of the second half to take control. The Greyhounds had a 32-23 advantage in shots and a 32-18 edge in ground balls while Centenary had a 9-8 advantage in draw controls. Junior midfielder Lindsey Lustrino led the Greyhounds, tying the school record for points in match with eight for the second time this season. Lustrino had seven goals and an assist, and she also led the team with nine ground balls and four draw controls. Lustrino broke the school records for goals in a season with 47 and points in a season with 51. Senior midfielder Jessica Cordani, sophomore attack Casey Simpson, sophomore midfielder Robyn Klem and freshman midfielder Sarah Naumes each found the back of the cage once for the Greyhounds with Cordani and senior midfielder Kindal Estes adding assists. Cordani also added three ground balls and two draw controls while Klem had three ground balls. Moravian sophomore goalie Laura Schantz made ten saves and added three ground balls in her second win of the season. Dana Pizzi and Lauren Feldman paced Centenary with two goals and an assist each while Clare Johnson scored two goals and Nicole Becker had a goal and an assist. Laura Davis had 14 saves for the Cyclones.

The Greyhounds fell to FDU-Florham, 18-6, in a Middle Atlantic Conference match on the HUB Quad. The Devils held a 36-15 advantage in shots and a 37-23 edge in ground balls while Moravian won 14 of 25 draw controls in the match. Junior midfielder Lindsey Lustrino and freshman midfielder Georgia Castellano each netted two goals while sophomore attack Jessica Bodine and freshman defender Rachel Feinstein each found the back of the cage once. Lustrino's first goal of the match, which pulled the Greyhounds within 4-2 at the 15:39 mark of the first half, was the 100th goal of her career, making her the second player in school history to score 100 goals. Bodine, senior defender Kristin Schol and junior defender Jenna Abramson each had three ground balls for Moravian while sophomore defender Mauri Dallago had three caused turnovers. Sophomore goalie Laura Schantz made nine saves in the cage for the Greyhounds. Freshman attack Amanda Wayne led FDU-Florham with six goals and an assist while freshman midfielder Laura Gambardello added three goals and an assist including the first goal of the match just 11 seconds into the contest. Junior attack Caroline Garguilo had a hat trick for the Devils while freshman midfielder Erin Reilly added two goals. Sophomore defender Debbie Hillman and sophomore midfielder Lindsey Specht each had a goal and two assists while sophomore attack Erika Sensbach added one goal and one assist. For the Greyhounds, junior midfielder Lindsey Lustrino had three goals to move within one of 100 for her career while freshman defender Rachel Feinstein and senior midfielder Jessica Cordani each found the back of the cage once. The Greyhounds fell to the University of Scranton, 15-6, in a Middle Atlantic Conference match. The Royals led 12-3 at halftime and had a 33-14 advantage on shots, a 26-23 edge in ground balls and won 19 of 23 draw controls. Junior midfielder Lindsey Lustrino scored a pair of goals for Moravian while sophomore attack Casey Simpson, senior midfielder Kindal Estes, freshman defender Rachel Feinstein and freshman midfielder Georgia Castellano each found the back of the cage once. With 12:27 remaining on the clock and Widener leading 13-7, the match was delayed 30 minutes by lightening. The Pioneers finished the match with a 28-24 edge in ground balls while Moravian held a 32-27 advantage in shots and a 15-13 edge in draw controls. For Moravian, junior midfielder Lindsey Lustrino had five goals while senior midfielder Jessica Cordani contributed a goal and three assists. Sophomore attack Casey Simpson netted a goal for Moravian while Lustrino led the team with ten ground balls, four draw controls and four caused turnovers. Moravian suffered a 10-2 loss to Lycoming College in a Middle Atlantic Conference match played on the HUB Quad. The match was called after it had been played to an official time limit due to rain, sleet and snow that had fallen during the match. At one point, the snow was falling heavy enough to blanket the field with a layer of snow. Moravian scored the first goal of the match in the second minute, but the Warriors responded with six unanswered goals to take a 6-1 halftime lead. Lycoming would score the first four goals of the second half before Moravian scored at the 49:03 mark. At that point, the officials deemed the field and conditions to dangerous to continue. Lycoming finished the game with a 22-9 edge in shots, a 47-36 advantage in ground balls and an 8-5 edge in draw controls. Senior midfielder Jessica Cordani and junior midfielder Lindsey Lustrino each scored unassisted goals for the Greyhounds, and Lustrino had a team high five ground balls and four caused turnovers. Moravian earned its first victory of the 2006 season, defeating local rival Cedar Crest College, 15-5, in a non-conference match on the HUB Quad. The Greyhounds jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead before the Falcons scored two goals. Moravian would head to the intermission with a 5-2 lead, and the Greyhounds scored ten goals in the second half for the victory. Moravian had a 41-21 advantage in shots and a 42-22 edge in ground balls while Cedar Crest had a 12-9 edge in draw controls. For the Greyhounds, junior midfielder Lindsey Lustrino tied the school record with eight points in the match with seven goals and one assist. Sophomore attacks Casey Simpson and Jessica Bodine each found the back of the cage once for Moravian while senior midfielders Jessica Cordani and Kindael Estes, sophomore midfielder Robyn Klem and freshman midfielder Georgia Castellano each had goals. The Griffins jumped out to a 2-0 lead before the Greyhounds scored three straight goals to take the lead. Gwynedd-Mercy tied the contest at 3-3, but Moravian netted two more goals for a 5-3 advantage. The Griffins scored the final two goals of the first half to tie the contest at 5-5 at the intermission. Gwynedd-Mercy scored the first four goals of the second half to take a lead it would not relinquish at 9-5. The Greyhounds would pull within one at 9-8 on three straight goals, the first of which was Cordani's fourth of the match and 100th of her career; however, the Griffins answered with three straight goals for a 12-8 advantage. Gwynedd-Mercy had a 36-20 advantage in shots and a 16-9 edge in draw controls while Moravian had a 41-17 advantage in ground balls. Cordani led the Greyhounds with five goals while junior midfielder Lindsey Lustrino had four goals. Moravian opened its 2006 Middle Atlantic Conference season with a 17-3 loss at Elizabethtown College. The Greyhounds trailed just 5-2 at halftime before the Blue Jays scored 11 straight goals to open the second half. Elizabethtown finished the game with a 32-18 advantage in shots and a 30-21 edge in ground balls. Elizabethtown also had 17 draw controls to five for Moravian, and the Blue Jays connected on four of six free position shots. Moravian received single goals from junior midfielder Lindsey Lustrino, senior midfielder Kindal Estes and sophomore attack Casey Simpson. Sophomore goalie Laura Schantz had nine saves for the Greyhounds in 55 minutes while sophomore Mauri Dallago saw her first action of the season in goal and allowed one goal in just under five minutes of action. Danielle Grooms led Elizabethtown with four goals and an assist while Katie DiRico and Sarah Gilson each netted three goals. The Greyhounds dropped their 2006 home opener, falling to rival Muhlenberg College, 16-5, in a non-conference match on the HUB Quad. The Mules jumped out to a 4-0 lead, including three goals by Courtney Tapkas, before Moravian scored its only goal of the first half, an unassisted tally by junior midfielder Lindsey Lustrino. Muhlenberg went into the intermission with a 9-1 lead. The Mules would extend the lead to 12-1 before the Greyhounds scored again on an unassisted goal by senior midfielder Jessica Cordani. Muhlenberg kept the lead in double figures the rest of the way. Cordani led Moravian with three goals while Lustrino had two goals and an assist. Sophomore attack Jessica Bodine added an assist for the Greyhounds while Cordani and sophomore defender Mauri Dallago each had three ground balls for Moravian. Tapkas and Ruth Morrongiello each scored four goals for Muhlenberg while Sara Hiller had three goals and an assist. Marissa Capuano added two goals and two assists for the Mules while Shannon Donohue had a goal and three assists. Muhlenberg had a 28-24 advantage in shots and a 30-24 edge in ground balls.
