Head Coach Kate Miller
Kate
Miller is just the second head women's lacrosse coach in school
history. Miller, who has led the Greyhounds to a 24-68
record in her six seasons, also serves as a faculty member in physical
education, assistant women's soccer coach and athletics budget manager.
Miller, a 1990 graduate of Temple University with a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Education,
spent ten years as a faculty member at Bryn Mawr College where she served
as head women's lacrosse coach for six seasons, head women's soccer coach
for ten seasons and assistant athletic director and senior women's administrator
for four years.
Prior to her positions at Bryn Mawr, Miller worked in
marketing and sales for Anaconda Sports for two years. While attending
Temple, Miller was four-year letterwinner for the Owls'
women's lacrosse team, earning First Team All-American honors as a senior
in 1990 while leading Temple to an undefeated season and the NCAA Lacrosse
Championship.
Miller also founded the women's soccer club team at
Temple, which is now an NCAA Division I program. She was also a USA Lacrosse
Team member from 1990 to 1992, and Miller has played on several soccer
club teams over the last 16 years. Miller served on the
NCAA Soccer Rules and Regulations Committee for four years, and she also
served on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Committees for Rules and
Regulations and Community Service for three years.
Miller is currently working towards a Master's Degree
in Education from DeSales University.
Assistant Coach Dawn Cipolla
Cipolla joined the Moravian staff in 2007 as an assistant coach. She
is a 1990 graduate of Temple University and played four seasons for varisty
women's lacrosse with coach Miller at Temple.
