Bob Houser writes:
“I recently got together with Phil Bees, ’68, and renewed a friendship after some 46 years of no contact. We enjoyed dinner out in Myrtle Beach with our brides (both of 40+ years) and then we played golf the following day. We won’t relate who walked away with bragging rights, since we both performed a bit below average. We shared lots of laughs and memories. Phil resides in Summerville, SC, just outside of Charleston. Phil spent most of his time at Moravian with the class of ’65. He looks great!
We are sad to report that Lynn Cognetti passed away on February 9, 2011.

From the Alumni House:
Kevyn DePuy Malloy writes in, “Are there other non-retirees out there? After twenty years as a psychologist (preceded by eleven years as a restauranteur and ten years as a stay-at-home mom) seven years ago I became an Executive Coach with a specialty in Leadership Development. Three years ago I also became the Director of Learning for MentorCoach (www.mentorcoach.com), a school that teaches psychologists to become coaches. This means that I am busier than ever and enjoying every minute of it. Because most of my work is done on the phone, I am able to spend 6 months in Vermont and 6 months in Pennsylvania. I’d love to hear from classmates residing in either state!”
From Bob:
We had a small gathering for our 45th reunion, but are hoping for a huge return for our 50th in 5 more years. Ted Bowman, who joined us at the 45th, sent a note of interest. "Classmates may have interest in a new book, just published. It is an edited book of poetry addressing themes of loss and renewal, all written by Minnesota poets. The book, The Wind Blows, The Ice Breaks, contains 140 poems by over 100 poets. The publisher is Nodin Press. For more information, classmates could go to my web site: www.bowmanted.com.” I trust all our classmates are doing well out there in "retirement" or semi- retirement. Let us hear from you.

Bob Houser says “We have our 45th class reunion coming up on May 21-22. Nevin Hollinger and I are co-chairing the reunion committee and would like to see as many of our classmates as possible come back and swap "sea stories". If you'd like to help a bit (not much time or effort involved) let me know. Looking forward to seeing you in May. ”
Joanne Bobek retired on January 2, 2010.

I’ve recently taken over as the class correspondent but with the new system, you can enter your own inputs. With that said, I’m more than happy to put it in for you if you send me the information. I have recently retired from a second career and picking up a more leisurely life. If you get to the Wilmington NC or Myrtle Beach SC area - give me a call. Cheers, Bob
