Nanette Paden Muth retired from teaching 35 years in the Bethlehem Area School District on June 11, 2011.  She spent the last 26 years teaching kindergarten.  Nanette writes that she could not have chosen a better profession.  I loved teaching.  I was a mentor/co-op to many Moravian College elementary major students for approximately 20 years.  I continue to mentor elementary students at William Penn Elementary and read to preschoolers at my local library. During my retirement, I’ve been focusing on healthy eating and fitness.  I enjoy taking Zumba and Yoga classes and staying active.  My husband, Martin, and I are presently vacationing for two months, January and February, all around Florida in our newly purchased RV.  We love it.  We’ve escaped the brutal winter at home.  Hopefully, we will see spring soon, after we arrive back home where we will enjoy our Koi fish ponds and gardening.

From the Alumni House:

It goes without saying that Tim Gilman and Jon Egerton, who have been playing soccer together at the club level, since their graduation, would be excited about the World Cup Soccer Tournament. They attended a party at the home of Moravian psychology professor, Bob Brill and his wife, Joyce. They and other team members of the Bethlehem Jeffs Gold team cheered the U.S. on as they tied England in a historic match. The Jeffs team plays in the Leigh Valley Old-Timers Soccer League (over 40); Tim is the coach and also the president.
