The Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants has reappointed Barbara Borkowski Snyder, CPA of Hartford, to serve as a member of its Advisory Council for the organization’s 2015-2016 activity year, representing the Financial Institutions Committee. Barbara is a partner with Whittlesey & Hadley, P.C. Hartford.
Karen Gottwald Malcolm was ordained as a Deacon in the Episcopal Church in Albany, NY on May 30, 2015.
Ed Stetz has joined Skelly and Ly, Inc. as Director of Marketing. The Harrisburg, PA based firm provides environmental and engineering services to clients east of the Mississippi and abroad from six Mid-Atlantic US offices. Ed, his wife, Mary Ann Nowak, and their son Greg live in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Marie Mihalski passed away on October 30, 2009 at the age of 82, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Marie will be remembered as a generous, loving, positive, and energetic presence. Marie is survived by her two daughters, her son and three granddaughters.Gary M. Krall married Pattie Giordani on January 20, 2009 in Bethlehem.
Mike Castle celebrated his 50th birthday with a surprise party. Joe Kubrak, Walt Wehoff, Chris Smith, Tom Kocis, Stephanie Delana Akers, Lisa Calabrese Dogden, and Margan (“it is now”) Mulvaney attended. Lynne Louderback and Gail Beltram met in Philadelphia for lunch a few months ago.
