Faculty Recital - WorldWinds - Music of Two Traditions Deborah Andrus, clarinet - Nora Suggs, flute This recital combines the very different musical heritages of East & West. Performed on clarinet, flute, & shakuhachi (traditional Japanese bamboo flute) the musicians will highlight the difference and identify the shared musical threads of two traditions, offering a unique perspective on world music in a modern, smaller world. $15 general admission / $10 seniors & students |
