About our speakers:
Bob most recently completed training in Natural Agriculture methods at the Rodale Institute in Kutztown, PA. He currently serves as Project Manager at the Sister's of Saint Francis Monocacy Center for Renewal here in Bethlehem where he is responsible for establishing a ten-acre organic demonstration and production farm and designing and installing several walking and formal floral gardens.
Anne Dutlinger's illustrated talk will discuss the relationships between identity and place, the history and power of naming and mapping, and the complex, often conflicted efforts between current descendants of the white settlers and the Anishinaabe to build a sustainable future that is based on mutual respect and understanding--together.
