The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom
Survivors in the areas hardest hit by Japan's recent tsunami find the courage to revive and rebuild as cherry blossom season begins. THE TSUNAMI AND THE CHERRY BLOSSOM is a stunning visual poem about the ephemeral nature of life and the healing power of Japan's most beloved flower. Directed by Academy Award Nominated filmmaker Lucy Walker (Waste Land), this award-winning film features photography by Aaron Phillips and music by Moby. Check out the trailer at http://www.thetsunamiandthecherryblossom.com/

Sponsored by the Moravian College Environmental Studies & Sciences Program and through a grant from the Margaret A. Cargill Foundation. An opportunity for discussion will follow the film.
