Members of Senator Obama’s Foreign Policy Team to Speak at Moravian College

Bethlehem, Pa., April 1, 2008— Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s foreign policy team members Richard Danzig, Susan Rice, and Dennis McDonough will speak at Moravian College on Wednesday, April 2, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in Prosser Auditorium, located in the Haupert Union Building.

This is a campaign event for Senator Obama. As a non-profit institution, Moravian College does not endorse any political candidates, nor does it endorse any political parties. All Moravian College students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend. The event is free and will also be open to the public. Seating is first come, first served, doors open at 2:30 p.m.

Richard Danzig is a lawyer who served as the 71st secretary of the Navy under President Bill Clinton. Susan Rice was the senior adviser on national security affairs for the Kerry-Edwards campaign in 2004, an assistant secretary of state for African affairs, and a special assistant to the president at the National Security Council at the Clinton White House. Dennis McDonough, a former policy adviser to former Sen. Tom Daschle (D-S.D.), advises on Latin American affairs.
